I did it! I sent in my ballot this morning. I can hardly wait until next Tuesday!

Today, we are heading out on a rented bus with 50 friends to watch UW play Notre Dame. We have a full day of tailgaiting before the game starts at 5pm. I will take some pics to upload tomorrow.

Today was Buick's first day of the 6th grade (click image to see larger photo). He's attending Madison Middle School. There are 900 students in the 6-8 grades. He said he had a good first day. I volunteered to help kids open lockers and stuff envelopes just to see what things were like. So far, so good! Lunch was a big hit with burgers and pizza. Here's a photo of his school:

Here's a quick catchup:

Buick graduated from the 5th grade. Yes, they had a ceremony and everything. Here he is with the principal and his teacher.

Buick's regular season baseball ended the season 11-3. They went on the win our league tournament!

Buick made the All-Star team for a second year. This time, we won our district tournament. Here's Buick after the district win:

After winning district, we went on to the state tournament. We won one game and lost two. Our baseball season lasted from April- July 22nd. It felt like a LONG TIME:

So, I won't overload this posting. I promise twice monthly updates from now until Christmas!

Buick's Little League Season has started out well. His team has won 6 in a row! More to come!

Buick is catching in this photo. He is moving into the Majors this year. He was drafted by a great team, the Orioles and he'll be playing with a lot of 12 year olds. More baseball news to come!

Buick just finished up basketball. He played up a year up, so many of the kids were very tall!

Buick had some friends over for a sleepover for his birthday. They watched football, played xbox live, guitar hero and ATE a ton of food. We all had a great time. Here are some photos (click for larger photos):
