Last night, Brad and I got last minute tickets to the Comedy Underground to see a comedian we missed at Bumbershoot in September. He was FANTASTIC. His name is Arj Barker. Look for him on Comedy Central. Here's his web site. Here's a peak of his act on YouTube.
Green Bay is here for Monday night football. It looks more like we are all in GREEN BAY. Above is our outdoor thermometer. It's 28 and snowing like crazy at sea level! Buick is so excited. Definately a snow day for him tomorrow and maybe for Brad, too!
We had a great Thanksgiving at Lake Cushman this year. We had only been there on past Memorial Day weekends and at this time of year, we had the whole campground to ourselves. It rained. It was sunny, and on the last day, it snowed. Here's Brad BBQing the turkey:

Next, Buick went trick or treating with Oliver, who dressed as a Seahawk Super Fan. Buick quickly threw together his best Raider outfit. They are a great duo because the Raiders will be here Monday night to play the Seahawks!

So, tonight is our big night with Mick and Keith! I have chills, literally. I have strep throat and I'm going to bundle up, down some theraflu and make it to the show NO MATTER WHAT! Here's a look at our seats. We are the RED DOT.
We went to Seattle Center this weekend to watch football and ended up running into a STAR TREK convention. Who did we see? Lt. Uhura at EMP. She's still absolutely gorgeous! Our Celebrity Report from Seattle. I heard Sulu was in attendance as well!
Buick started 4th GRADE this morning! I can't believe it! Brad took the morning off for the traditional gathering at Schmitz Park Elementary. I'm thrilled to have my work schedule back, and right now it's back to work!
It wasn't pretty, but it was great to see the Raiders show up in Seattle for the first time in 2 years to face our local Seahawks. Being the realists that Raider fans are, Buick and I came prepared with back up Pittsburg gear to rub in the Superbowl loss in case the Raider took the night off (which they did). Art Shell was standing alone on the side lines most of the night. I'm sure the Raider work out this week will be HARSH. Seahawk fans were flying high with their newly named mascot, Taima (pronounced TAME-A, haha). It was a fun night, as all Seahawk Raider games are. The drive home is a whole entry on its own!
Tuesday, October 17th, Buick will get to go to his first STADIUM concert and see one of my all time favorites, THE ROLLING STONES! He may not appreciate it now, but I'm sure when he's older he will always remember it! Needless to say, I'm counting the days!!!! I know it's only rock and roll, but I like it, like it, yes I do!!
It's a big day at Alki Beach. We are about to be invaded by Seafair Pirates! To get in the mood, Buick and I saw "Dead Man's Chest" yesterday. We loved it. The critics are wrong on this one. And I hear it made 55 MILLION yesterday alone.
I know that 90 is nothing to those of you in the Golden State, but Seattle's been having warm, clear weather for the longest stretch in years! It's going to be sunny on the 4th! Yeah. I've been neglecting our blog for too long. Baseball season is over and school is out. Buick and I are heading to Yuba in a couple of weeks. Then I'm heading to SoCal to visit a very pregnant Lori!
That would be my friend Diane and her man, John. They came to Seattle on a Northwest beer tour. John had some great home brew and they treated me to lunch at a brewpub on Capitol Hill. Check it out here.
Buick started his Little League season yesterday batting a 1000 and pitching his first game!
Today, I went with my fellow Alki locals to hear Al Gore speak with our Seattle Mayor about climate changes. All I could think about was Saturday Night Live and how well Darrell Hammond had him down. I would have laughed out loud if he said "lock box"!

With a family name like MacNamara, we wanted to wish everyone a Happy St. Patty's Day. It's also birthday time for a few of our friends! Jilleen (39) and Sheila (50)! Happy Birthday!

It's been a very long time since I've had time to do any personal updates at webcami.com/family. The last photo posted of Buick was Christmas 2004! I'm so busy working on client web sites that I rarely have time for my own. Isn't it said that a house cleaner's house is never clean? (I don't do that for a living, but that's true for me as well) So, I decided to sign up for a blogspot so I could easily fill out a form and keep family and friends up to date on life in Seattle. I'll soon figure out how to post photos and let you all see how big Buick is getting.
